An Attractive City to Live In
The Hague is an attractive city to live in.
The city centre contains a number of well-preserved historic locations, such as the Binnenhof, Lange Voorhout and the Gevangenenpoort. There are also exclusive shopping streets in The Hague, including the area around Noordeinde, renowned for its chic fashion stores, and the antique shops around Denneweg. An attractive pedestrian area around Grote Marktstraat and Spui has been realised with the construction of the tram tunnel. These areas all contribute to the city’s ambience. In addition to all this, The Hague is a green city, with many parks, impressive dunes and nearby beaches.
